About Merrion Square Market

Merrion Square Market is a weekly lunchtime market located in Merrion Square Park, just around the corner from St Stephen's Green. Merrion Square Park sits at the centre of one of Dublin city's most beautiful Georgian squares. The park has been restored to its historical layout and has a playground and sculpture trail. The Houses of the Oireachtas (the Irish Government), the Natural History Museum and the National Gallery of Ireland sit along the west of the square.

The market offers an alternative and exciting lunch option while also promoting multicultural cuisines in Dublin city center. The market caters to a variety of people, including families, the local corporate workforce, food enthusiasts, and tourists. Our aim is to celebrate diversity and support small businesses in the area. We are thrilled to be a part of Dublin's vibrant food scene in the city centre and you can find us in other Dublin parks too. Merrion Square Market is one of the many Dublin City Council Markets organised by the incredible event manager, Jackie Spillane.
